Have you ever put something off because you feared failure? Maybe you delayed a difficult conversation because you might say the wrong thing. Or perhaps you avoid wedding dances for fear of looking like a klutz. Or, like me, you decide to put off that first experience of skydiving because “failure” would be quite tragic. 🙂 Well, I have wanted to make bacon jam for years, but have been afraid the end result would be disappointing. But the day of boldness finally arrived.
Salmon is one of the quickest, simplest, healthiest foods to prepare. And I prepare it often! Obviously! There are so many salmon recipes on my blog that I’ve considered renaming the it “The Salmon Concerto”.
What are some of the craziest diet trends you remember? There was the grapefruit diet. The cabbage soup diet. Scarsdale diet. The cigarette diet. The Atkins diet. And even the Twinkie diet.
What’s the point??? I’m sure the main goal with dieting is to be healthy, but so many of the fad diets seem to ignore nutrition, balance, good health, and common sense.

I am one of those people who tends to be overly-prepared. There has to be a huge stash of tissues and toilet paper, the pantry should always be overflowing, and there may be more socks in my dresser drawer than at the store.
